7digital.com has said that it has seen "rocketing" digital music sales following the introduction of the DRM-free MP3 download format across the Warner Music and EMI catalogues.
In March, 7digital.com was the first company in Europe to offer the Warner Music catalogue in DRM-free MP3 and apparently instantly saw sales of the catalogue more than double.
Sales from 7digital.com have increased more than 300% year-on-year to June 2008, with the top selling albums in 2008 so far including Kylie's X, Radiohead?s In Rainbows and Madonna's Hard Candy.
The site is now claiming the number two digital music retailer slot in the UK market. Link to article
